Alice Stanley Jr.

A Chicago native, Alice Stanley Jr. holds a degree in English from Principia College and an MFA in Dramatic Writing from Arizona State University. Her work has been seen from Alaska (Last Frontier Theatre Festival) to Maine (ImprovAcadia). Most notably she won the 2015 Mary Scruggs Works by Women Festival and the 2014 New Play Bake-Off at the Goodman. A cast member of Second City Theatricals, she also performs around Chicago with the fully improvised musical Baby Wants Candy and Whirled News Tonight at iO. Other previous writer/performer credits include the Chicago Funny Women’s Fest, Chicago Sketchfest, Encyclopedia Show Arizona, and The Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
