Brian Hashimoto is a live performance and film director and photographer based in Los Angeles. He is the founder and Artistic Director of Smashbox, a cross-medium production company, through which he develops new theatrical and film work. Brian was a co-founder and Managing Director of FullStop Collective in New York, where he directed and produced entirely new work with emerging artists. He has also had the honor to work as an administrator with Lincoln Center Theater, Shen Wei Dance Arts, and The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama from Ithaca College and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Directing from the California Institute of the Arts.
