Emily White resides in NYC, where she works as the Playbill Coordinator for The Public Theater and as a freelance dramaturg. She has worked as a production dramaturg at Theater Row in NYC (The Roaring Girl), Moonbox Productions in Boston (The Wild Party, Barnum, Cabaret), and Wheelock Family Theater in Boston (In the Heights). She won the KCACTF Awards for Dramaturgy and Program Note for her work on Middletown. She has also performed as an actor with numerous theater companies in New England, including The Sandra Feinstein-Gamm Theatre (Arcadia), Zeitgeist Stage (Punk Rock), Maiden Phoenix Theater Company (Playhouse Creatures), and the Boston Playwrights’ Theatre. She holds a BA in Theatre Studies: Acting and Dramaturgy from Emerson College.
