Jamie Macpherson is a fight director and instructor, specializing in working with young people. Fight credits include: Titus Andronicus, Feathers and Teeth (both at Arizona State University), and Beauty and the Beast (First Act Children's Theatre). She is a certified Actor Combatant, and a member of the Society for American Fight Directors. As a researcher, Jame is interested in investigating pedagogical approaches to stage combat, as well as the art form's capacity to develop one's ability to empathize.
