Mahalia Dinglasan will graduate in 2017 from the University of Texas at Austin with a BFA in Theatre Studies. She is a first time participant in the Cohen New Works Festival and this cycle, she will write, direct, and produce her first play, Emanation. Her work as a theatremaker values collaboration and takes risks in the name of innovation. She is an ardent thrift-shopper and a proud mama of two cats: Ziggy and Miso. Miso plays fetch, Ziggy has more dignity.
