Rick Stemm

Rick Stemm is a playwright, game designer, and Teaching Artist, specializing in interactive, multimedia, and transmedia shows.

Rick Stemm is a playwright, game designer, and Teaching Artist living in San Antonio, TX. He has written and produced shows for theaters and festivals around the country, specializing in highly interactive theatre. He is a teaching artist at the internationally renowned Creative Youth Development program SAY Sí and a working game designer and playwright. Rick has taken a show to the New York International Fringe Festival, been nominated for the Dramatists' Guild Lanford Wilson Prize, and received city grants for his work combining video games and theater. Most recently Rick was chosen as an official tricentennial artist to represent 300 years of San Antonio art history with his collaboration on the poetry-generating robot Word Salsa. His plays can be found on the New Play Exchange.
