Trip Venturella

Trip Venturella is a playwright with an MFA from Ohio University. As the director of Development and Outreach for Apollinaire Theatre Company in Chelsea, MA, he oversaw the fundraising and construction of the Riseman Family Theater and BlackBox Theater at the Chelsea Theater Works. He has worked as an actor, director, dramaturg, and playwright in Maine, India, Sri Lanka, Boston, and Ohio. His full-length plays include Killer Maples: The Musical! with composer Andres Ramos; The Water Baby, a play about immigration during the Great Depression; and Sibyl, an AI play about our dysfunctional relationship with technology.
