Jamie is also a co-creator of the World Theatre Map. She came to Emerson College from Arena Stage in Washington, DC, where she served as Associate Director and Co-Creator of the American Voices New Play Institute, and held a number of other roles in finance and human resources over her six-year tenure. She began her career at the New Victory Theatre and New York Stage and Film, and holds a degree in Culture and Politics from Georgetown University.

Jamie shares: “It’s been an honor to help build HowlRound from the ground up with an incredible team of people. It’s a privilege to work for an organization that lives its values, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to continue my journey in this new role.”

David Dower, Vice President of the Office of the Arts at Emerson College and fellow HowlRound co-founder, states, “Jamie is not only one of the co-founders of this endeavor, but has been an integral thought partner and innovator with HowlRound since before there even was a HowlRound. In our ten years of working together, Jamie's shaped and powered the activities, programs, and platforms all along the way. I'm delighted to see her step into this leadership role and look forward to working closely with her as we move the whole discussion and community forward.”
