2019 LTC Miami Regional Convening (Miami in Motion!) Participant Application / 2019 LTC Encuentro Regional de Miami (Miami in Motion!) Solicitud de Participante

The Latinx Theatre Commons (LTC) invites theatremakers, scholars, artists, performers, administrators, and advocates from South Florida (and beyond!) to the 2019 LTC Miami Regional Convening (Miami in Motion!) 12-14 July, hosted by Florida International University | Theatre in Miami, Florida, USA. Miami in Motion! will gather members from the Miami Latinx Theater community and beyond to share work and methodologies, and to experience the vibrant and varied forms of storytelling illuminating the abundant creative talent of this rapidly growing “Magic City.” All interested in building a more connected Latinx Theatre community in Miami are invited to attend!

Admission to the convening is free. There is no financial assistance available for travel. At this convening, we are accepting participants on a first-come, first-served basis, while also considering a variety of factors to build out the room with the most equitable group of attendees. We are actively seeking attendees who will bring the voices of their distinct communities into the room at the convening. Visit www.latinxtheatrecommons.com for more information.

El Latinx Theatre Commons (LTC) invita a teatristas, académicos, artistas, intérpretes, administradores, y defensores del sur de la Florida (¡y más allá!) al 2019 LTC Encuentro Regional de Miami (Miami in Motion!) del 12 al 14 de julio, y actúa como anfitrión la Universidad Internacional de Florida | Teatro en Miami, Florida, EE.UU. Miami in Motion! reunirá a miembros de la comunidad de teatro Latinx en Miami y más allá para compartir el trabajo y las metodologías, y para experimentar las formas vibrantes y variadas de la narración de historias iluminando el abundante talento creativo de esta “Ciudad Mágica” de rápido crecimiento. ¡Todos los interesados en construir una comunidad de teatro Latinx más conectada en Miami están invitados a asistir!

La admisión al Encuentro es gratuita. No hay asistencia financiera disponible para viajar. En este Encuentro aceptamos participantes por orden de llegada y también consideramos una variedad de factores para construir la sala con un grupo de asistentes más equitativo. There may be limited partial artist wellness grants available through North Star Projects to primary carers to help defray the costs of child/elder care to attend the convening.
