Four Walls Theater is a grass roots socially responsible theater that produces new plays through online readings, working with diverse artists from around the country. Four Walls Theater honors people of all backgrounds and works to create a safe and supportive community for our artists and audiences.
Founded during the corona virus crisis by Elana Gartner, Four Walls Theater has grown to have a steady staff of four: Gina Dropp, Director of Marketing and Patron Services, M. Florian Staab, Sound Designer and Composer, and Katherine Hintz, Graphic Designer. We produced "Ageless" by Bridgette Dutta Portman, directed by Andra Hunter, supporting Meals on Wheels America; "Ghosts of Bogota" by Diana Burbano, directed by Malini Singh McDonald, supporting RAICES (Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services) and our upcoming show "Rights of Passage" by Michelle Tyrene Johnson, directed by Sibyl Rolle, supporting Black Lives Matter and featuring a full cast of 2020 graduates from college and MFA programs as well as our assistant stage manager. www.fourwallstheater.com
