j. sebastián alberdi is a playwright. originally from san diego, ca, he now lives and works in boston, ma, and writes about queer, mexican, and catholic identity—or all three at once. he was a 2018 lambda literary fellow, a finalist for the playwright's center many voices fellowship, as well as a semi-finalist for the princess grace award. in addition to playwriting, he is a published erasure poet and his collection of erasures queering the final chapter of james joyce’s ulysses, y es published through ghost city press. he holds a b.a. in english from northeastern university.
