Scott T. Barsotti is a playwright and performer originally from Pittsburgh, PA. Scott writes plays of all kinds, but has a particular emphasis on works in, and inspired by, the Horror genre. His sci-fi novel, SINGLE VERSION, is taking pre-orders on Inkshares.com through November 15.

Scott is a company member of WildClaw Theatre and a member of the Dramatists Guild of America. He is a Resident Playwright alumnus at Chicago Dramatists.

Scott’s plays include The Revenants, Kill Me, Entry (or, you think you know me), Brewed, Jet Black Chevrolet, Jagoffand Facing Angela; adaptations include Robert Louis Stevenson’s The Body Snatcher and H.P. Lovecraft’s The Shadow Over Innsmouth. Scott’s work has been performed all around Chicago and nationwide; his work has been produced and/or developed by the Goodman Theatre (2014-15 Playwrights Unit), WildClaw Theatre, Curious Theatre Branch, The Route 66 Theatre Company, Chicago Dramatists, Lifeline Theatre, Roundelay Theatre Company, Stage Left Theatre, The Ruckus, Theatre Seven of Chicago, Tympanic Theatre, the side project, Steep Theatre, Happy Medium Theatre Company, and The Visceral Company among others. His plays have been seen at the New York International Fringe Festival and the Rhinoceros Theater Festival, as well as festivals produced by SCI-FEST Los Angeles, Collaboraction, American Theater Company and many more, as well as live events such as the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2), WildClaw Theatre’s DEATHSCRIBE, and the Paper Machete.
