European Premiere of Olives and Blood at Liminal Space Productions in London—Friday 25 October & Saturday 26 October 2013
Olives and Blood is contemporary play of one of Spain's greatest playwrights Federico García Lorca whose life was tragically cut short at the height of this success in 1936 at the beginning of the Spanish Civil War. His body has never been found and lies somewhere on a hillside in an unmarked mass grave. Lorca's plays including Blood Wedding and The House of Bernarda Alba were banned for thirty years but now they are performed all over the world. See Liminal Space Productions' program book for this production.
