Following up on HowlRound’s Journalism Series on Gender Parity that began last week and its Weekly Howl on the topic, this week's Howl will be co-moderated by Marisela Treviño Orta @MariselaTOrta and Amy Clare Tasker @AmyClareTasker who members of the San Francisco Bay Area’s Yeah, I Said Feminist Theatre Salon.

The purpose of this conversation is to give the community a chance to focus last week’s gender parity conversation on advocacy best practices and concrete ideas for action. In preparation for this week’s Howl you can find the TACTICS interview series (Theater Artists’ Collected Thoughts Insights Challenges & Strategies for Gender Parity Advocacy) hosted by the Works by Women San Francisco website.

On Thursday, get heard in the conversation by searching for #newplay in Twitter (sort by “all”) and by putting “#newplay” somewhere in your messages. Spread the word!

*The hashtag #newplay in Twitter is a commons tag (i.e. non-proprietary, community-invested tag) for aggregating global knowledge, information, and conversation related to new works, new performance, and new strategies in the theater.
