Andy Paris is a theatre maker, audio producer and teacher.
Andy Paris has made a career of developing new works for the stage and screen. He is a director, writer, deviser, performer, producer and teacher. Other writing credits include THE LARAMIE PROJECT: 10 TEARS LATER, THE FANMAKER’S INQUISITION, and THE CORPORATE CARNIVAL. Other directing credits include: GOLDSTAR OHIO (Times Newspaper’s Theatre Tribute Award for Outstanding Direction); Faith Pilger’s THE STAGES OF BURNING; GOING PUBLIC; MOMENTUM; and THE AMERICAN FAMILY at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Andy has performed in countless other plays in New York, regionally, and in Europe. FILM/TV credits include THE LARAMIE PROJECT (HBO) and LAW & ORDER SVU (NBC). He has also been the recipient of two AUDIE Awards and a Voice Arts Award for his audiobook narrations. Andy is currently Assistant Professor of Devised Theatre at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
