Abbie Anderson

Abbie Anderson is an invisibly physically disabled actor, singer, dancer and writer based in Boston, MA, who is passionate about educating and advocating for disability justice and accessibility in the theatre industry. 

 Abbie Anderson (she/her) is an actor, singer, dancer, and writer based in Boston. She recently graduated from Emerson College with her BFA in Theatre and Performance and a minor in Poetry. With Emerson Stage, she performed in Bonnets as Valerie, and Rage as Moana-Eats. Professionally, she has performed with Apollinaire Theatre Company in Chelsea, Ma, toured with the Rev Theatre Company in Upstate NY doing Theatre for Young Audiences, and has performed in NYC at Radio City Music Hall, Sony Hall and internationally at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. As an invisibly physically disabled theatremaker, Abbie is passionate about seeing disabled bodies represented onstage and promoting work by fellow disabled creatives. Abbie studied under HowlRound in undergrad, and is so thankful to have a place where marginalized voices in the theatre can be heard, uplifted, and represented.
