Alexis Greene

Alexis Greene is a biographer, arts journalist and editor.

Alexis Greene lives in New York City and upstate New York, where she writes about the arts and also writes true crime stories. She holds a Ph.D. in Theatre from the CUNY Graduate Center and was a founder and first president of Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas. Her profile of the Lebanese theatre artist Hanane Hajj Ali will be posted at American Theatre magazine on February 10. Her biography of the American playwright and director Emily Mann will be published by Applause Books in Fall 2021.
