Amber Robinson

Amber is a Chicago-based director, actor, dramaturg, and teaching artist focused on the development of new work and exploration of classic texts through vivid theatrical language. Amber holds a BFA in theatre from Illinois Wesleyan University, and has studied at the Moscow Art Theatre, SITI company, Chicago Physical Theatre, and the Neo-Futurists. Amber is a co-founder of Grey Ghost Theatre, a company member of TUTA Theatre and the Forks & Hope ensemble, and has worked as a performer or artistic collaborator with companies all over Chicago, including Strange Tree, Akvavit, Strawdog, Emerald City, Walkabout, 20% Theatre, The Encyclopedia Show, The Big Picture Group, Redmoon, and Collaboraction.
