Amparo Garcia-Crow

Amparo Garcia​-Crow acts, sings, directs; and writes plays, screenplays, and songs. As a playwright, Garcia-Crow has been developed at South Coast Repertory Theatre and Mabou Mines, had world premieres Off-Broadway, Actor’s Theatre of Louisville, and Latino Chicago. Her films have premiered at SXSW, the Los Angeles Latino International, Cine las Americas, and PBS.  A former TCG/NEA Director’s Fellow and James Michener Fellow, her collection is “Between Misery and the Sun: The South Texas Plays.” As an Equity SAG actor, she appears in unexpected television, film, and video game places.
