Andy Bentley is a playwright, director, and theatre-deviser. He graduated from Drew University with a B.A. in Theatre Arts and Applied Performance. His work has been staged at the Garden State New Play Festival and Drew University. He has trained with The Tectonic Theater Project and is certified in Moment Work. He strives to create theatre art that evokes goosebumps and incites conversation.

When Andy Bentley and Cecilia Lomanno directed The Baltimore Waltz during their senior year, it drew them closer to a generation of queer elders lost to the AIDS crisis. They discuss the ways their production activated the potential for intergenerational connection that lies latent in queer drama.
