Caitlin Nasema Cassidy is an actor-theatremaker of Irish and Lebanese descent based in New York City. Acting credits include the world premiere of Paradise (Central Square Theatre) for which she received the 2018 Elliot Norton Award for Outstanding Actress, NY Times Critic's Pick Pay No Attention to the Girl with 2019 Obie Award winning Target Margin Theater, and The Vagrant Trilogy (The Public Theater). Caitlin serves as Co-Artistic Director of LubDub Theatre Company with which she is in residence at Theatre Row and a member of the Orchard Project Greenhouse. She serves as Artistic Producer for the annual Creative Media Festival in Qatar and Youmein Festival in Morocco. She was a 2017-19 Fellow with The Lab for Global Performance and Politics and a 2017 Global Cultural Fellow with the University of Edinburgh’s Institute for International Cultural Relations. She has developed work at The Orchard Project, En Garde Arts, Long Wharf, Target Margin, Noor Theatre, NYTW/Dartmouth, Georgetown University, Atlantic Theater Company, Theatre Row, WP Theater, and beyond.
