Chingwe Padraig Sullivan is a northeast coast based, Shinnecock and Montaukett actor and playwright, whose work focuses on the quiet but brutal erasure of Indigenous peoples in the continuing colonial narrative of America.

Chingwe Padraig Sullivan (she/they/he/nákum) is a Northeast based two-spirit actor (Shinnecock and Montaukett Nations), living in the task of bringing indigenous perspective into western performance spaces. As an Indigenous artist raised in Boston, she seeks projects that challenge the ways in which Indigenous peoples continue to be erased in the narratives told by colonial definitions of “place”. After studying for three years at the Brown/Trinity Rep MFA Acting Program, she left to pursue work grounded in community, and has since been seen onstage across the country, including Rhode Island, Chicago, New York, and world premieres in Boston and San Francisco. Notable work includes starring in the short film Emerald Bay, which is currently in preproduction, working with famous Indigenous Feminist theatre company Spiderwoman Theatre, and being part of the core ensemble of Safe Harbors NYC’s new show, Feast of Ghosts.
