Damon Krometis

Damon Krometis is a theatre artist interested in promoting collective responsibility through performance. He has a MFA in Directing from Northwestern University, where he combined directing studies with research in witnessing theory. He has recently been creating site-specific and community-engaged projects around Chicago both on his own and with the Living Room Playmakers. Damon formerly founded Examined Man Theatre, a company dedicated to theatricalizing true stories. He has toured internationally with acclaimed South African director Yael Farber. He has also worked with Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Goodman Theatre, Lookingglass Theatre Company, Tectonic Theater Project, Red Bull Theater, and others. He now resides in Boston with his wife Jess.
