Danny is a Yaddo resident artist, Edward F. Albee Fellow, and graduate of New York University’s Gallatin School and Columbia University’s School of the Arts with an MFA in playwriting. He was the playwright in residence at the Atlantic Acting School from 2014 to 2020, developing new work annually for production at the Linda Gross Theater (and on Zoom). He is the creator of the Script Writing Score (SWS). His play What the Sparrow Said is now a short film, directed by Tim Guinee, executive produced by Anson Mount (@SparrowTheMovie). He had the privilege of teaching at the Atlantic Acting School/NYU, City College of New York, Fort Lewis College, Fitzmaurice Voicework, and as a New York City public school teaching artist.
