Deanie Vallone is the Literary Associate at Milwaukee Repertory Theater, working primarily in new play development. She has previously worked in dramaturgy and casting with Baltimore Center Stage and Asolo Repertory Theatre. Recent new play dramaturgy credits include works by Martín Zimmerman, KJ Sanchez, Catherine Trieschmann, Nathan Alan Davis, Kimberly Belflower, Larissa FastHorse, and Andrew Bovell. Her writing has appeared in The Wisconsin Review, Booth, The Independent, HowlRound, and Jumeirah Magazine, among others. She received a BA in English and creative writing from Cardinal Stritch University and an MA (Cantab) in English from St. John’s College, University of Cambridge.
