Deborah Yarchun is a 2013-2014 Jerome Fellow at The Playwrights’ Center and a recent graduate of the Iowa
Playwrights Workshop. Her plays include THE MAN IN THE SUKKAH, THE ALEPH COMPLEX and PORTMANTEAUX and have been developed at The New Harmony Project, Jewish Plays’ Projects OPEN: The Festival of New Jewish Theater, the Great
Plains Theater Conference and WordBRIDGE and produced at universities and theaters across the United States and Canada. Deborah’s awards include The Kennedy Center’s Jean Kennedy Smith Award and University of Iowa’s Iowa Arts
