Deena Selenow

Deena Selenow is a director for live performance. Her work has been presented at REDCAT, East West Players, Los Angeles Theatre Center, La Jolla Playhouse WoW Festival, The Skirball Cultural Center, The Hammer Museum, LA LGBT Center, Highways Performance Space, Machine Project, Company of Angels, The O’Neill Center’s National Playwrights Conference, PRELUDE Festival, Dixon Place, and chashama, among others. Deena was a recipient of the 2006 Baryshnikov Art Center Multi-Disciplinary Artist Fellowship, the 2009/2010 NYTW Emerging Artist Directing Fellowship, and was a participant in the 2013 Walt Disney Imagineering Educational Initiative. She is a member of the TCG SPARK Leadership Cohort, and was a member of the 2017-18 TCG Programing Council. From 2016-2018 she served as Director of Oxy Arts at Occidental College. Deena currently serves as Board Secretary of Heidi Duckler Dance in Los Angeles, and is on faculty at the CalArts School of Theater. BFA: NYU, MFA: CalArts. www.deenaselenow.com.
