Dominique Fawn Hill is a costume designer for Stage and Film. Her hometown, Bronx, NY instilled in her glam, grit, and the willingness to always look at the world through an empathetic lens. She finds the psychological nature of costume design invigorating and sublime. It is her belief, that in order to truly understand design; one has to understand the nature of the human condition. Everyone strives to be understood to belong & to ultimately leave their footprints on this earth. She strives to always build her community by designing the tangible/digital nuances left behind by the unspoken mind. Some of her professional associations are with, Portland Center Stage at The Armory, Asolo Repertory Theatre, The La Jolla Playhouse, The Public Theater, The Alley Theatre, various commercials, television shows, and films. In 2020 she was nominated for Best Costume Design by the AUDELCO company for the production of Stew. In 2019 she was awarded the USITT/USA Prague Quadrennial Exhibit Award for Best Costume Design for the production of Venus. She is a bi-coastal designer that works frequently in both New York and Los Angeles. She holds a MFA in Design from The University of California, San Diego.
