Elizabeth McQueen is an Assistant Professor of Theatre at Florida State University who writes on climate, food, and agricultural performance practices.

Elizabeth McQueen is an Assistant Professor in Theatre Studies at Florida State University. Her research examines the contradictions, anxieties, and aesthetics of contemporary performances that utilize food, from transnational performance art to global entertainment venues. Her writing is found in Gastronomica, Global Performance StudiesTheater Journal, and she hosts the podcast Esculent. She holds a Ph.D. in Theater and Performance Studies and a certificate in Food Studies from UCLA.
