Emily Kitchens (she/her) is a theatre and performing arts artist, teacher, scholar, currently serving as Assistant Professor of Acting at Kennesaw State University. She lives in Atlanta, GA with her partner and child. 

Emily Kitchens (she/her) is a theatre and performing artist currently based out of Atlanta and is serving as Assistant Professor of Acting at Kennesaw State University. She has acted in contemporary to classical works with theaters including American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.), Yale Repertory Theatre, The Kennedy Center, The Guthrie Theater, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, The Denver Center for the Performing Arts, The Alliance Theatre. Her original works have been performed in NYC, the Bay Area, Edinburgh, Berlin, and Leesburg, GA. She has published in American Theatre, Brooklyn Rail, Women & Performance: a  journal of feminist theory, and The Journal of Consent-Based Performance.  Recent directing credits include Love and Information by Caryl Churchill and Grace, or the Art of Climbing by L.M. Feldman. She is a licensed Be Body Positive Facilitator and a breathwork instructor. MFA: A.C.T.  BFA: University of Evansville. She is mother to Ramrao.
