Emily Wells has over 20+ years of performing arts industry producing and directing experience, with a significant focus on new works, community collaboration, and innovative artistic projects. Currently, she is at Houston Grand Opera as HGOco Senior Producing Manager, leading HGO’s web series Star-cross’d to a bronze Telly Award for the pilot episode “Boundless,” and with 9 new works in development until 2023. She is also Adjunct Faculty in Theatre at Rice University  in Houston, Texas.
