Éric Fassin is a sociologist and professor of political sciences at the Université Paris VIII. A specialist on issues around gender and sexuality, he is committed to fighting discrimination of all kinds. He is the author notably of Gauche: l’avenir d’une désillusion (2014) and Démocratie précaire: Chroniques de la déraison (2012) and has contributed to the collective work Roms et Riverains. Une politique municipale de la race (2014).
