Eva Kyselová studied Theatre Studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava and then finished her PhD studies in Theatre at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, where she teaches in the department of theory and criticism. Her reserarch is mostly focused on the history of Czech and Slovak theatre, feminist theatre and drama, and contemporary theatre. As a critic, she cooperates with theatre magazines in Czech and Slovak and writes about drama theatre, puppet, and alternative theatre.
