He has devised 'Navarasa Sadhana' module as a transformative process for performers seeking a deeper insight to the depths and diversity of human emotions. He is the Chairman of Natanakairali and Ammannur Chakyar Madhom in Irinjalakuda, Kerala, India. He has invented a dance notation system for delineating mudras in dance and theatre in Kerala. He is the author of numerous books on Sanskrit theater traditions including MUDRA - The Language of Kutiyattam, Kathakali and Mohiniyattam'
