Gavin Damore

Gavin Damore is a transgender man and the communications manager for Artists From Suburbia. He is also a public relations professional who crafts campaigns for arts, theatre, entertainment, and technology organizations. Prior to beginning graduate school at Boston University College of Communication, Gavin developed social media content for the second international tour of “Kultar’s Mime.” His work sparked interest from national and international press, leading to features in The Indian Express and on WBEZ’s “Worldview.” Gavin also created a multi-media Facebook campaign for Fort Point Theatre Channel’s world-premiere production of “Dreambook” and consistently works with The Open Theatre Project to enhance their social media and media relations strategies. He's also worked with SpeakEasy Stage and New Repertory Theatre. Gavin holds a BA in English from Stonehill College and anticipates graduating from Boston University in 2017 with a MS in public relations.
