Gloria “Mama Glo” Williams is a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She served 52 years, the longest sentence of any woman at the Louisiana Correctional Institute for Women. While incarcerated she was part of The Drama Club, Toastmasters, Domestic Violence Survivors, Victim’s Awareness, Vessels of Wisdom, among others. She also counseled numerous women who ultimately named her Mama Glo. A public speaker, she is currently working on multiple creative projects about her incredible life story.
