Gwendolyn Alker is a full-time faculty member in the Department of Drama at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she teaches classes on feminism and theatre, Latinx performance and embodiment. From 2015-2017 she was the Editor of the national journal Theatre Topics. She has also produced, curated, and dramaturged many theatre festivals, including (most recently) the Maria Irene Fornes Marathon at The Public Theatre in August, 2018.
