Henry Ajumeze

Dr Henry Ajumeze is Lecturer in Theatre Studies at the School of Arts, Languages and Cultures, University of Manchester. He studied at the University of Ghana and the University of Cape Town in South Africa, and has been a fellow/awardee of several prestigious organisations including the Social Science Research Council (SSRC), African Humanities Program (AHP) of the American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) — Carnegie Corporation of New York and Consortium of Humanities Centres and Institutes (CHCI). His research is in the intersection of postcolonial theatre and environmental humanities, interrogating the performance culture of ecosystems –human and nonhuman-- in the politics of global capitalism.
