Theatre Artist and Viewpoints Coach
As an actor, dancer, writer, and director, Hira sincerely enjoys bringing stories to life. Most recently, she performed as Juliet in All Queer Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet-centered Queer Cabaret. Other acting credits include Elizabeth Bennett from Pride and Prejudice with Recasting the Movies. She has worked with The Bridge Initiative, Southwest Shakespeare Company, the Indian Film Festival LA, the Olomopolo Media Festival in Pakistan. At Bryn Mawr College, she was a dedicated member of her Shakespeare Performance Troupe, where her roles included Falstaff, Luciana, and the Princess of France. She has since been devising and performing in theatre and film and teaching, including six years as a teaching artist for the Mesa Arts Center. Hira spent a year in New York with SITI Company as an actor in their Acting Conservatory, focusing on Viewpoints and the Suzuki Method. She holds a B.A. in English and an M.A. in Nonprofit Leadership and Management.
