Jenna Turk

A writer/actor/collaborator, Jenna is currently based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada where she is Artistic Associate at Theatre Calgary.

Born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, Jenna has a BFA in Acting from the University of Windsor and a MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Guelph. After eight years in Toronto, she is now based in Calgary, Alberta where she is the Artistic Associate at Theatre Calgary under Stafford Arima. Most recently she was the dramaturg on the world premiere of Tara Beagan's Honour Beat at TC, she co-adapted The Two Gentlemen of Verona with Dean Paul Gibson for Shakespeare by the Bow in Prince's Island Park, and performed her one-woman show, The Starving Time, under the direction of Sharon Pollock as part of Theatre Junction Grand's Next Stage series. Coming up: her play, Remnants, will premiere in St. John's, Newfoundland with a production by White Rooster Theatre in 2019.
