Jennifer Johnson

Jennifer Johnson is the Co-Director of the Charlestown Working Theater in Boston, MA. During her tenure the CWT has presented the work of distinguished local, national, and international theatre companies including Mabou Mines, Double Edge Theatre, Theatre Kranevit (Berlin), Poland’s Gardzienice Theatre and Teatr ZAR, Grupo Jicara Teatro (Buenos Aires), Great Small Works, Blair Thomas, and NCA Small Theatre (Armenia), among others. She has directed and performed at the HIGHFEST International Performance Festival at the National Center for Aesthetics in Yerevan, Armenia, and at the Grotowski Institute in Wroclaw, Poland. She has been an artist-in-residence at Roger Williams University, and has twice received awards from the MIT Council for the Arts. As a company member of Double Edge Theatre (Ashfield, MA), Jennifer has worked at DE’s Farm Center and toured extensively in Central Europe and the US for over twenty years.
