Joanna Lu is a senior at New York University studying viola performance, with a second major in computer science. Outside of school, she is involved with various collaborative composer groups, and has premiered and recorded many works on behalf of other students. Past festivals engagements include Green Mountain Chamber Festival, in Vermont, where she studied with Tim Deighton and Dan Sweaney, Voksenasen in Norway, where she studied with Stephanie Baer, and the PRISMA festival and academy in BC, Canada.
