jose sebastian alberdi is a playwright.

jose sebastian alberdi is a playwright. originally from san diego, ca, he now lives and works in new york city and writes about queerness, catholicism, power, and other things he finds interesting and/or important. he has developed his plays with the huntington theatre company, speakeasy stage, the workshop theatre, fresh ink theatre, sparkhaven theatre, teatro chelsea, and campfire theatre festival. he was a 2018 lambda literary fellow, a finalist for the playwright's center many voices fellowship, as well as a semi-finalist for the princess grace award. ba in english from northeastern university, and current mfa in dramatic writing candidate at nyu tisch.
