Wedlock of the Gods is a love story reminiscence of Williams Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. The tradition was broken with young Ogwoma, who defied the law of the land by reconnecting with her true love, Uloko, while still in mourning for her dead husband. Wedlock of the Gods is a tale of a passionate love affair, destined to thrive against all obstacles. The play is written by Nigeria's first published female playwright, Zulu Sofola.
