Joya Scott is a producer, dramaturg, director, and educator. She specializes in contemporary, devised, and multidisciplinary work and artistic process design.

Joya is a faculty member at Arizona State University, where she has taught experimental theatre and performance, directing, acting, multidisciplinary collaboration, and several other courses. As an educator, she helps young artists learn to focus as much on process as they do on product.

From 2012 to 2018, Joya served as Producer and Resident Dramaturg at Orange Theatre, a contemporary performance ensemble based in Phoenix, AZ.
