Julie Crosby is a theater producer, advocate for women artists, and author. She was most recently the artistic director of Women’s Project Theater, where she produced 25 off-Broadway plays written and directed by women. During her 9-year tenure, she also revitalized the WP Lab for playwrights, directors and producers, a mentorship and leadership training residency for early- to mid- career women artists. Her accomplishments at WP Theater landed her the 2013 Lilly Award for Outstanding Producing at a non-profit company. Previously, Julie worked for over two decades on Broadway and international touring productions. She received her doctorate in medieval drama from Columbia University.
