Kate Wilson (Foy) BA MLitt PhD is a professional actor, director, writer, and educator. With an extensive production biography in Theatre in Education, and in Australian university theatre Kate also writes on theatre and serves in theatre advocacy and consultancy roles. She was a Board Member and Chairman of Queensland Theatre (Company) 2001-2011 and a Board Director of Empire Theatres (2003-2013). Currently, she serves as a Trustee of the Empire Theatres Foundation, Toowoomba. Kate teaches in the Performing Arts Department at Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, Brisbane, Australlia.
