Kimberly Messer

Kimberly Messer is a theatre educator and school communicator working in NYC.

Kimberly believes in the transformative power of doing live theatre and telling stories on stage. The past four years, she was surprised how much she enjoyed teaching theatre when she was asked to start an after school drama club for a diverse group of high school students. Theatre has always been her artistic medium of choice, and now she is pursuing a Master's in Theatre Education from the University of Northern Colorado, so she can continue to share that love through teaching. When she's not directing or studying, she's working full-time as the Director of Communications for Challenge Charter School in NYC. Having worked with a number of LGBTQ students, she believes that the theatre space needs to expand and be more inclusive than ever before.
