Leanna Keyes of Transcend Streaming is a multi-hyphenate theater professional. Her most well-known digital productions are Today Is My Birthday with Theater Mu in Minneapolis, Regina Taylor’s the black album mixtape block party, How to Catch a Karen with Naked Empire Bouffon Company, Downtown Crossing with Company One in Boston. She’s a longtime producer of the Bay Area Playwrights Festival in San Francisco and has recently done digital festivals for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and the Ashland New Play Festival. She specializes in shows that are fully live: the way we’re meant to be.

As a playwright, you can find her post-Roe v. Wade play Doctor Voynich and Her Children in The Methuen Drama Book of Trans Plays. Leanna co-edited this first-of-its-kind anthology of trans plays by trans playwrights about trans characters.
