Lila Rachel Becker is a director based in New York and DC. She specializes in formally inventive new work and bold reimaginings of classics that ask audiences to examine how (and if) they are creating a more just world. Her work is rooted in feminist and anti-racist principles, both onstage and off. She brings fierce intellect, dramaturgical rigor, and precision to a range of stories and forms and is endlessly fascinated by how systemic power structures intersect with ideas, culture, politics, identity, and relationships.
